Privacy Policy

Overview

FourSix (the “App”) is designed to operate primarily on device. Brewing notes, coffee data, and other personal content are stored locally on your device and, if you enable it, synced via Apple iCloud. I (the “Developer”) do not have access to your iCloud data.

The app collects and process a limited amount of data only for:

  1. an optional feature request and voting system, and
  2. in-app purchase entitlement management.

The app does not collect analytics, advertising data, or location data.

On-Device Data and iCloud

All brewing notes, coffee data, and other core app content:

  • are stored locally on your device, and
  • may be synced via your personal iCloud account if you enable iCloud syncing.

This data is controlled by you and Apple. The developer does not have access to it.

Feature Requests, Voting, and Comments

The app includes an optional feature that allows users to submit feature requests, vote on them, and post comments. This feature is intended to be shared with other users of the app and may be visible publicly within the app.

To support this functionality, the app uses Supabase, a cloud backend service.

When you use this feature:

  • A random, anonymous identifier is created to associate your feature requests, votes, and comments.
  • This identifier does not include your name, email address, or other direct personal information.
  • Only data related to this feature is sent to Supabase.

No other app data is transmitted to Supabase.

In-App Purchases

The app uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase entitlements (for example, determining whether a purchase is active).

  • RevenueCat uses a random, anonymous user identifier generated by the app.
  • This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, or Apple ID.
  • RevenueCat does not receive payment card details or other financial information.

All payments are processed directly by Apple through the App Store. The app does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.

Data Collected

Depending on which features you use, the app may collect and process:

  • Anonymous user identifiers (for feature requests and purchase entitlement management)
  • User-submitted content, such as feature requests or comments
  • Votes associated with feature requests

The app does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.

How This Data Is Used

The data described above is used solely to:

  • provide the feature request, voting, and commenting functionality,
  • manage and verify in-app purchase entitlements,
  • prevent abuse (such as duplicate voting),
  • communicate feature status and roadmap information to users.

The developer does not use this data for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Apple Analytics

Apple may collect diagnostic or usage information if you opt in to sharing analytics with Apple at the operating system or App Store level. This data is collected and processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. The developer does not receive personally identifiable analytics data from Apple.

Data Storage and Security

  • Feature request data is stored and processed using Supabase.
  • Purchase entitlement data is processed using RevenueCat.
  • Authentication credentials for these services are securely stored on your device using the iOS Keychain.
  • All other app data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app processes data related to feature requests and in-app purchases under the legal basis of legitimate interests, as this processing is necessary to provide optional shared features and manage purchases.

Data Retention and Deletion

Feature requests, votes, and comments are intended to be shared with other users as part of a public roadmap.

If you request deletion:

  • The developer may remove or anonymize identifying information associated with your submission, while
  • retaining the feature request, votes, and status where necessary to preserve the integrity of the shared roadmap.

Because this data is associated with an anonymous identifier, the developer may ask you to provide additional information (such as an identifier displayed in the app, if available) in order to locate your data.

Tracking and Advertising

The app does not use tracking technologies, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics. Anonymous identifiers used by Supabase and RevenueCat are not shared across apps or services.
